Nicole's BFC Margarita Recipe

Nicole is one of the women I met for Jorge Cruise's video shoot recently. Her 86 lb weight loss is featured in his new book Belly Fat Cure Quick Meals, which ships 12/27/2011 and is just $13 on Amazon. Nicole hasn't just lost weight, in person she is tiny and it was hard to imagine her ever overweight. But she was, just like the rest of us! I was really motivated by her weight loss and think she is a great BFC role model.

I'm really looking forward to doing a Q&A with her soon, so if you have questions you'd like to hear her answer, leave them in the comments here! I'm going to guess she has lots of good advice that we could all learn from.

She shared this recipe with me and I thought it would be great for your holiday cocktail cravings. It is the perfect example of how a few small changes can make a big difference in sugar content.

Nicole's BFC Margarita:
  • 1.5oz tequilla
  • 2tbsp lime juice fresh or bottled
  • 4tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp orange extract
  • 1 tbsp sweetner (stevia)
  • ice
She says you can serve it on the rocks or frozen and she counts it as an S/C Value of 0/0.

Be sure and check out Dawn's blog today for more tips on Surviving the Holidays on the BFC or all of my other holiday posts. You don't have to wait until after the holidays to start dieting, start today!

  3. Here are my questions for Nicole: How long did it take her to lose the weight? What made her decide to do BFC? What was the toughest thing to change in her diet? How did she overcome it? Does she have a blog?

  4. All of Susan's questions are right on. Why BFC-had she tried other plans?
Nicole is lovely, and talk about transforming! I would even recognize the two as being the same person.
    Have a good day Amber.

  5. Did she stick to only whole grains? Sometimes I find it hard to do whole grain all the time. She looks amazing and cant wait to hear from her. Love your blog too so much!!! Also, as said above, how long did that take her?

  7. I want to know how she got so freaking SKINNY! Ha, no really, what did she eat?

  8. Thanks Nicole and Amber. My question: Is it normal not to be hungry during the day and is it okay to not eat if you are not hungry. Most diets state that eating more often increases your metabolism. I eat breakfast, a snack, and sometimes skip lunch but then eat a dinner.

  10. What a great recipe! I look forward to the q & a. I'd love to see a sample menu of a typical day. I love to see what other people eat and have success with.

  11. That does sound delicious and very waistline friendly! I am not a drinker but I love the slushy kind of drinks so this one is up my alley less the booze.
Would love to see the before & afters of all of the featured guests at Jorges get together. Do you know where we could find them other than the book>?
